Pola Thomson, es Chilena y licenciada en Diseño por la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Ha realizado estudios  en el área del diseño en las prestigiosas Central Saint Martins College of Arts & Design en Londres y  Parsons The New School of Design en Nueva York.

En sus 10 años de carrera, ha creado dos marcas importantes para el medio chileno:
Pituqui - Pinaqui y Pola Thomson, marca homónima que se encuentra potenciando actualmente. Pola Thomson es considerada por la prensa especializada del país como un referente, pese a su corta edad.
Sus colecciones se han presentado en numerosas pasarelas en Chile como el Encuentro de Moda Independiente, Hecho en Chile y +, Raíz Diseño (pasarela ecológica) y Pasarela Santiago, este último organizado por el BAF en Chile. Internacionalmente se ha presentado en Ciudad de Panama, en el FWP 2010.
Paralelo a su carrera como diseñadora, colaboró con innumerables publicaciones en editoriales de modas en revistas nacionales e internacionales.
El año 2008 recibió el premio Ga.ma Cut Awards como la mejor Productora de Moda.
Hoy su vida transcurre entre Santiago de Chile y Nueva York, en donde trabaja en su más reciente proyecto: una línea de prendas de vestir y accesorios para mujer bajo su nombre.

Pola Thomson is a Chilean designer with a bachelor’s degree in Design from the Pontific Catholic University of Chile. She has also studied fashion design at the prestigious Central Saint Martins Collage of Arts & Design in London and at Parsons The New School of Design in New York City.

Over the course of a 10-year career in design, she has developed two important brands on the Chilean fashion scene, Pituqui-Pinaqui and Pola Thomson, the latter of which she is currently developing.Despite her young age, Pola Thomson is considered to be a leader in local fashion by the Chilean press.
Her collections have been featured in several Chilean runways, such as Encounter for Fashion Independent Design, Made in Chile, + Root Design (ecologic runway), and Pasarela Santiago, this last one organized by the BAF in Chile. She featured her last collection at an international runway at Panama City for the FWP 2010.
Alongside her career in fashion design, she has collaborated on numerous fashion editorials for national and international magazines.
In 2008, she received the award for Best Fashion Stylist at the Ga.Ma Cut Awards.
Currently she lives between Santiago, Chile and New York, where she works on her most recent project, a line of women’s garments and accessories for the Pola Thomson label.
